Most college-age students have no reason to get plastic surgery. The number of young people getting plastic surgery is increasing. In fact, many below college age are also going under the knife. Since 1992, the number of cosmetic procedures performed on patients 18 or under has jumped from 13,314 to 74,233 (See story, page 1).
More often than not, young people who get cosmetic surgery don't really need it.

Nose jobs and breast implants are so yesterday. Now, women are getting their feet done. Bones are cut to eliminate unattractive bunions, shorten long second toes and trim wide feet. Fillers are injected into the fat pad of the foot to make wearing heels comfortable. Short toes are lengthened by cutting the bone, then adding bone grafts or silicone implants.
